I read a great article today by Kristine Kathryn Rusch about the shift in the book publishing industry that gives "indies" a leg up in getting their print books into book stores and on the shelves! -What inspired you to start blogging?

I decided blogging would be a great way to connect with other aspiring authors like myself and it was a great decision. I have met so many wonderful and talented people through blogging.

How did you come up with the name of your blog?

Mine was simple...I used the title of my debut saga!

What is your favorite blog that you like to read?

I really enjoy tiffanylovesbooks! I love her "about me" page. She is a person I would love to hang out with and her book reviews are spot on!

Tell about your dream job.

Writing fiction is what I dream about and aspire to be extraordinary at! It is the one thing that I do that is almost effortless and it is what gives me the most personal satisfaction when doing it.

Is your glass half full or half empty?

Half full definitely! I am always the optimist in any given situation. Is there any other way to be?

If you could go anywhere for a week’s vacation, where would you go?

To a secluded mountain cabin with a roaring fire, a glass of wine, and a good book!

What food can you absolutely not eat?

Sushi for sure! Raw is meant for veggies not meat or fish no matter how trendy it has become to dive into sushi...I won't succumb!

Dark chocolate or milk chocolate?

Milk chocolate! I know it isn't the healthy way to go but it is smooth and creamy and simply heaven in my mouth :) I just read that back and please people keep your minds out of the gutter!!!! LOL

How much time do you spend blogging?

Not as much as I should, I'd have to admit. This is all new for me. I'm a little bit older and still learning about all of the many tools available for networking with social media but I am doing my best to keep up and learning as I go.  Thank you S.K. Anthony :)

Do you watch TV – if so, what are some of your favorite shows?

Love TV! My favorite shows are...please don't judge...The Bachelor, Scandal (my absolute favorite!), Nashville, Revenge, Grey's Anatomy, Once Upon A Time, & The Voice! I'm an addict...I confess.

Unveiling of "Descended"

So today I revamped the cover of my first book "Descended (Fallen Guardian Saga #1)." While I loved the original cover, I am curious to see if my change will capture the attention of the YA readers.  I had a few fans on Goodreads suggest that placing a "beautiful girl" or "hot guy" on the cover would make the book more appealing to young adults. It will be interesting to see the outcome of this theory I am testing. If sales pick up...I'll let you all know! Here is the new cover for "Descended."
